Warriors Into The Wild - Text To All

   
      Im reading Warriors: Into The Wild by Erin Hunter. Warriors: Into The Wild is about Rusty, a house cat, dreaming about being free and wild in the forest catching mice. Then he wakes up and goes into the wild to hunt a mouse for the first time when all of a sudden he gets attacked by a gray feral cat, named Graypaw. Later two more feral cats come in and complement Rusty fighting Graypaw and say he should join their clan. later he abandons his comfortable kitty-pet life to be a wild cat, he gets the new name Firepaw which Rusty gladly accepts, not everyone accepts firepaw thought at first because they think he wouldn't be able to do anything that they can do.

     I can connect this book to me by my stepmothers family not fully accepting me at first. This reminds me of when Fire-paw first entered the clan and getting in a fight with Long-tail and getting his collar ripped off. This is when rusty got his new name, Fire-paw. Then Gray-paw showed Fire-Paw around.

     I can connect this to another text called Among the hidden by Margret Peterson Haddix. Among The hidden is about families only having two children due to the lack of food, it was forbidding to have any more. the story tells the tale of hidden children or the third kid of a family trying to be free and make people change their mind and allow people to have more than two kids. although in one book it deals with kids and another deals with cats, they can be connected. In both books it shows a character fighting for what they care for and protect anything they have.

     I can connect this text to real life events by people not being accepted at first. when Fire-paw first went in to the Thunder-clan, he got in a fight with a cat. this an be connected to how people dont easily allow or accept others in there group. this can also be connected to people by how some people needing to prove they belong somewhere, when Fire-paw fought gray paw it showed that he belonged with the Thunder-clan.

     Al thought this book is about cats in the woods, it can be connected to many things. Warriors into the wild, in my opinion, is very interesting book and once you read it you'll know why its so good. there is also many books in this series so it will take you awhile to finish. These books are filled with details plot twist.
